Having two photographers featured on the same day is remarkable, and I am thrilled that the editors at Vogue loved my photographs as much as I did.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOS 

Both of these photographs were taken in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. This area of the forest is called Mallardis Pike, and I had never visited here before. Just before the UK heatwave hit this summer, I decided to have a day out here. 

I wasn’t disappointed. Mallards Pike is a beautiful lake surrounded by pretty woodland in the centre of the Forest of Dean. 

The first photograph is named ‘Serenity’, because there’s no other word to describe it.

The second photograph shows the vast area of forest in the background, and I called this one ‘Into the Forest.’  

It was a beautifully sunny day and I didn’t want to leave! 

If you are visiting Gloucestershire or the Forest of Dean, then I recommend visiting this pretty little beauty spot. 

It‘s the perfect location to escape to, to go and clear your mind, or take the dog for a stroll. it’s also the most perfect location for a photo shoot!
